HVAC is an acronym for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. We use this as a catch-all term for your home or office’s heating and central air conditioning system.

The label of your HVAC appliance contains a production date. Warranties typically last five years or less. Using the production date, brand, and model, you can check online or contact the manufacturer about the warranty.

Your heating and cooling system should hum quietly in the background, but it will make a little bit of noise as the fans push air through the ducts. However, louder noise, like a lawnmower, may indicate problems with the motor. Banging and rattling sounds often indicate a broken or loose part.

Tune-ups are regular inspections of your HVAC system that ensure it runs efficiently. Think of them like an annual check-up at your doctor. Techs clean the system, top-off coolant, and look for small repairs, fixing them to prevent a large repair.

Trip charges are the fees associated with sending a tech out for an inspection, repair, or installation. It covers the tech’s travel time and time diagnosing your repair concern.

Popping ductwork can indicate a faulty design or a problem with the connections between the ducts or between the ducts and the appliance.

Regular maintenance ensures that your system is functioning properly. The tech will clean it, which reduces the wear and tear on parts, and look for potential problems. For example, a worn earing could cause the unit to stop working suddenly. Replacing the worn parts before the unit breaks prevents emergency repair.

The two primary reasons your air conditioner freezes up are lack of refrigerant and restricted airflow. HVAC techs can top off the coolant. You may need to move whatever is blocking the air intake to improve airflow.

Zoning your home gives you greater control over the temperature in each room or zone of the house. It reduces energy waste by allowing you to stop hating or cooling unused areas of the house.

Furnaces and air handlers aren’t typically installed in the same house. Air handlers are paired with heat pumps and manage the airflow throughout the house.

We are a Bryant Certified Factory Dealer, but we service all major brands and models of HVAC equipment, including warranty work.

We take Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, and checks or cash. We also have financing available for approved customers.

Yes! We offer both scheduled services and emergency services.

Zoning can help manage costs. You can also set your thermostat a few degrees higher in the summer and cooler in the winter. Newer HVAC appliances are also more efficient and use less gas or electricity.

Your water heater may be malfunctioning. Traditional water heaters have a life of about 12-15 years and lose efficiency as they age. Or, if you have a tankless water heater, there could be a problem with the electrical component.

Poor indoor air quality can be more polluted than the air outside. Pet dander, dust, debris, and mold spores all contribute to bad air quality, getting people sick more often or aggravating allergy symptoms.

A carbon monoxide detector in a centralized location is the best way to monitor CO levels in your house.

The size of your home and your budget often determine which humidifier is suitable for your needs.

Testing the quality of your indoor air is a job for professionals. Frequent dusting and vacuuming can help. Regular ductwork cleaning and changing your filters can also improve your indoor air quality.

Your filters should be changed about every 30-60 days if you use a standard one to three-inch filter. However, if you have pets, there’s a lot of pollen in the air or allergies, you may benefit from changing them more often.
